    The All Ireland Traveller Health Study is complete, and the final report was released in a ceremony in Dublin on 2 September 2010 by Minister Mary Harney TD.

    This site will continue to operate as a resource to make the study findings accessible, and to act as a historic resource documenting the study.

Ethical approval in Northern Ireland

The Northern Ireland section of Our Geels, The All Ireland Traveller Health Study (AITHS) has been given the go-ahead, after receiving ethical approval from the Office for Research Ethics Committees in Northern Ireland.  The study has been delayed in Northern Ireland until approval was received, and this marks a very positive development for the groundbreaking study.
