    Babies born to a Traveller parent (either the mother or father has to be a Traveller) between 14th October 2008-13th October 2009 and on the Island of Ireland will now be studied as part of the Birth Cohort study. Information on that study is here.

    The initial census in the Republic of Ireland was completed in December 2008.

    22 thematic and open focus group discussions on health issues have been held in the Republic of Ireland. In Northern Ireland, ethical approval for the focus groups is currently being sought.
